In January 2003, the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) of the American Library Association approved the guidelines recommended by the Education and Behavioral Sciences (EBSS) section. The guidelines provide suggestions to education deans or department chairs, library deans or directors, librarians or coordinators for curriculum materials libraries/centers. They offer guidance on the administration, collections, and services that may be provided by curriculum materials libraries at the college or university levels.
